Vancouver’s First Dedicated Outdoor Table Tennis Court

The BCTTA calls upon all table tennis players, supporters, and fans of the sport to wholeheartedly donate to the proposed Windermere Table Tennis Court, Vancouver’s first and only dedicated outdoor table tennis court. The project is the brainchild of Windermere PE department head Brad White, a tennis, squash and table tennis enthusiast and man behind the newly constructed Windermere Community Fitness Park (WCFP). The table tennis court will represent phase two of the project and be built on the remaining strip of land adjacent to the WCFP.

Moscrop Hosts the BCSSTTC Tournament 2023

Congratulations to Moscrop Secondary School for hosting THE most exciting and well-attended BC Secondary School Table Tennis Championships in its 50 year history! With the help of Moscrop’s army of 70+ volunteers, 181 athletes, high school table tennis players from 31 BC secondary schools, battled it out over two full days to a gallery full of spectators.

Dr. Chandra Madhosingh, the father of BC table tennis

Dr. Chandra Madhosingh, a giant in the world of Canadian table tennis has died at age 85. Chandra, as he was known to thousands of players, officials, students and peers, served six decades at every level of the sport of table tennis and is singlehandedly responsible for encouraging generations of children to take up the sport.

The Richmond Table Tennis Spring League commences on February 21 with another exciting season of fast and furious team table tennis at the Bridgeport Sports Club, the largest dedicated table tennis facility in BC. Deadline for registration is February 15. The league is limited to a maximum of 8 teams in each of 3 divisions, with maximum of 6 players in each team.
