Most important message to all players

 

Dear Players, parents and coaches,

As the 2025 Canadian Seniors and Juniors National Championships are coming in the corner, please pay attention to the following rules:

1.    Please check your email for your event registration. If there is an error, please send an email to bcttatournament@gmail.com immediately.

2.     Please pick up your accreditation tag on July 17, 3:30 – 4:30 pm at the Richmond Oval, the competition court. The accreditation tag is your ID during the championships.  $5.00 will be charged for the replacement of the accreditation tag each time.

3.     Please check your matches schedule and results on TTCAN’s website. There is no announcement for the competition information.

4.     Racket check procedure. You have to report to the umpire desk 20 minutes before your match starts for the racket check.  Your racket surface has to be evenly flat, with full coverage of 2 ITTF-approved rubbers.  One side is black; another side can be any colour. If your racket rubber coverage is missed 2mm, you will be disqualified unless you have another racket to pass the racket check. Pips rubber will be disqualified if 3 pips are missing.

5.      You must be at the competition table 5 minutes before the match starts.

6.      You must have two sets of colour shirts.  White colour is prohibited.  Sport shorts must be worn during the competition.

7.       Only accredited players and coaches are allowed on the competition courts.

8.       You must bring your water bottle, and you are fully responsible for your belongings.

9.        All registered coaches ( if a parent is a registered coach) are required to take the kids’ safety training and send their course confirmation to bcttatournament@gmail.com before the championships.  Here is the course link

 

10.       You have to purchase a parking ticket at the Oval parking station.

NOTICE FOR ALL PARTICIPATORS

Dear Players and Coaches,

All the coaches must register to have accreditation at the Canadian Seniors and Juniors National Championships when he/she register the events online at BCTTA’s website.
 
All registered players and coaches are required to have the accreditation to be on the competition courts. No accredited person will be prohibited from the competition courts.
 
Seniors’ events registration deadline: May 27, 5 pm
 
Juniors’ events registration deadline:  June 5,  5 pm

Dear BCTTA members and  non-members,
 
The 2025 Canadian Senior National Championships will be held at the Richmond Oval on July 18 – 20. Anyone who wishes to compete in the tournament,  please register online and E-transfer the payment to BCTTA.  TTCAN will accept entries from each province only.
 
It is a perfect opportunity for BC players to compete with other Canadian players at our home base.
 
Those who need to book hotel rooms, please make your reservation asap because some room types are limited. 
 
Please read the tournament prospectus (on the left side) before your registration.
 
Any BC Junior player who wishes to register for Senior Events must be 15 years old,  and have a boy’s rating of 1250 +, and a girl’s rating of 750+.
 
See you at the national event!

Dear Junior Athletes,
 
The 2025 Canadian Junior Championships will be held at the Richmond Oval from July 20 – 23.
 
Please see the  TTCAN’s prospectus attached.   Here are the notes that you have to follow:
 
1.  You must have a current valid  BCTTA’s member.
2.  You must have a permanent Resident status or Canadian Citizenship.
3.  You must register your single events (Maximum 2  events per player)  on BCTTA’s website and etransfer your payment.
4.  You can register your age group event and one age group above.
5.  You must register your events with your legal ID name.
6.  The provincial registration deadline is June 5th.
7.  More updated information will be posted.
