The British Columbia Table Tennis Association (BCTTA) sanctions and promotes competitions, and guides athlete development for the sport of table tennis in BC. One of our goals is to make table tennis competitions accessible and attractive to all levels of players. How are we doing? Let us know!

Junior Development Spring Break Training Camp

The BCTTA is hosting a Junior Development Spring Break Training Camp to prepare elite junior table tennis players for an opportunity to try out for team Canada for the 2023 ITTF Pan American Youth Table Tennis Championships in Charleston, West Virginia, from July 23-30, 2023.

Moscrop Hosts the BCSSTTC Tournament 2023

Congratulations to Moscrop Secondary School for hosting THE most exciting and well-attended BC Secondary School Table Tennis Championships in its 50 year history! With the help of Moscrop’s army of 70+ volunteers, 181 athletes, high school table tennis players from 31 BC secondary schools, battled it out over two full days to a gallery full of spectators.

The BCSSTTC Tournament

In many ways, the British Columbia Secondary Schools Table Tennis Championship (BCSSTTC) is the most inspirational local tournament each year. Started in 1973 by Dr. Chandra Madhosingh, the provincial high school championship event is celebrating its 50th year in 2023. This tournament showcases the future stars of BC table tennis, and features an ensemble of hundreds of kids on dozens of teams having the time of their lives playing like mad for their respective schools.

The Richmond Table Tennis Spring League commences on February 21 with another exciting season of fast and furious team table tennis at the Bridgeport Sports Club, the largest dedicated table tennis facility in BC. Deadline for registration is February 15. The league is limited to a maximum of 8 teams in each of 3 divisions, with maximum of 6 players in each team.

This is a great opportunity to meet and compete with senior players from around the province.
