BC Junior Team Brings Home The Medals!

The event
The 2023 Canadian Junior Table Tennis Championships were held July 10th to July 14th in Drummondville, Quebec. This exciting annual tournament, featuring Canada’s future table tennis stars, included boys and girls singles, doubles and team events in U19, U15 and U13 categories. The competition was intense between BC, Ontario and Quebec, the big three junior powerhouses of the sport.
As expected, our BC Junior Team did really well bringing home more than 16 medals. Briefly, below are the BC Team results, both team and individual. Pan-Am Youth Table Tennis Championships:
The 2023 ITTF Pan American Youth Table Tennis Championships is the next big junior event to watch out for from July 23 through July 30 in Charleston, West Virginia, USA. The prestigious international table tennis tournament for participants in the U-15 and U-19 age groups will be the ultimate goal for some of BC’s top juniors this summer. BC juniors qualifying for the Canadian contingent include Zonggang (Terry) Li in the boys U15; Jiayi (Fiona) Nie and Crystal Liu in the girls U19; and Olivia Huang in the girls U15. Best wishes for the success of BC’s Juniors in the upcoming Pan Am Youth tournament!
