The Richmond Olympic Oval is a top venue for sports like table tennis. Built for the 2010 Winter Olympics, the venue has since been reconfigured and now serves as a community multi-sport park and includes two ice hockey rinks, two running tracks, a climbing wall, a rowing tank and a flexible area which can be used for, among other sports, basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer and table tennis.

The Pan-Asia Pacific Table Tennis Tournament returns to the Richmond Oval on Saturday and Sunday, June 3 and 4, 2023 after an absence of several years.

This BCTTA-sanctioned (2-star) tournament has events for all levels of players from beginners to the elite. We encourage new-comers to competitive table tennis to use this event to spring-board into the exciting world of tournament play.

The Richmond Oval provides a spectacular setting for a table tennis tournament with excellent lighting, superb flooring and infinitely high ceilings.

Please check the Pan-Asia pacific Open Master Entry List below. Ensure check that your name is spelled correctly and we have you in the correct events. If you find any errors, please contact the tournament director ASAP.

Dear Participants

Welcome and thank you for your participation in the 2023 Pan Asia Table Tennis Open tournament.
Please pay attention to the following important points:

  1. You have to purchase a ticket at the parking machine after you enter the parking lot.
  2. Report to the tournament desk at reception.
  3. Highly recommend taking public transit or carpooling.
  4. Check the Oval Parking Map (choices) before you come to the tournament.
  5. Your playing racket must be fully covered with ITTF-approved rubbers.
  6. Your playing shirt must not be in white color, shorts must be worn.
  7. Must pay your event fees before the tournament starts
  8. Must keep all areas ( playing or seating) tidy and clean.
  9. You are fully responsible for your belongings, lost or stolen.
  10. Bring your own drinking bottle with your name on it.
